When we decided to finally build our dream/retirement home on the river we contact several building contractors with our plans to get started only to find out that the quotes were all over $200,000 which was out of the question for us.
We needed lots of space so that our 100 year old mother could live with us.
We finally decided to "settle" for a large mobile home and spent months going to MH dealer lots and asking lots of questions. We found the quality of them to be poor and the answers to questions from the dealers to be vague and deceptive. Then we found Royals Homes and were simply amazed at the difference. The Southern Energy homes were not even in the same class as the others and were actually built with more lumber than our site built home would have been.
We took our original house plans to Mr. Eugene and in a few minutes were on our way to exactly what we wanted at the price we hoped for. Our new "farmhouse" as we call it, is absolutely wonderful. The construction far exceeded my expectations and the straight forward answerers to questions from Mr. Eugene made way for no surprises. The house is so tight that our electric bill is averaging just over a $100 month and we are around 2100 sf.
Everyone has assumed we built a site built and are amazed to learn otherwise. Mr. Eugene and his staff have gone over and above to make sure that we have been taken care of and the Southern Energy folks call us all the time just to make sure everything is A-OK!
*They are seriously interested in our satisfaction!*
We will get anxiety attacks to think we might have bought someplace else. If you are thinking about buying a new home and want straight answers and quality, I wouldn't do a thing until I talked to Mr. Eugene at Royals Homes.
Mr. Eugene we would like to say "Thank You" and let you know we are more than pleased with our home and wouldn't think of recommending any of our friends buying a home from anyone but you.
Thanks. Ron & Lana Jones
